The Grief and Healing Workshop
In this workshop we will focus on the topic of grief.
Grief is a valid, integral part of the human experience - normal, healthy, powerful - and also unavoidable.
And yet, we fear it, suppress it and run away from it, often creating even more grief and loss in the process.
And even this is normal.
After almost two years of life in the pandemic, we have all been through a lot, and sustained significant losses - lost loved ones, lost time, lost opportunities, and even a loss of sense of self and higher purpose.
Many of us know we have had losses and know we “are supposed to grieve” - but we are not sure how to actually “do” it.
In this workshop we will work on the “how” of grief - how to enter into it, what it feels like, what to expect on the other side, and what to do when it happens again the next time.
Our goal will be to develop the “power of grief” as a kind of life skill in you - with a focus on the things you may be grieving in your current period of life - so that you will have the ability to engage with grief with less of a feeling of fear and threat, and with more of a feeling of familiarity, understanding and sovereignty.
