It's just inconvenient to other people.

The witch is your part that has desires that don't serve anyone else, especially in patriarchal structures that benefit from your self-sacrifice. She's the voice that says "I want the promotion," "I want to leave this relationship," "I want to create art instead of spreadsheets." The voice that's been trained out of you because it's not "nice."

Think of her as your inner contrarian who refuses to play small. She's not evil — she's honest. And in a world that profits from your compliance, honesty feels dangerous.

Context Changes Everything

You're resisting her in the dream, and it feels like being overpowered. But look at what she was turning you into.
