The tradition says it plainly: the sun is conventionally read as the core drive, what a person is organised around, and Aries is the sign of moving first and asking later. There is also the pattern around other people's hesitation. You love them and their slowness is its own kind of friction. You have probably learned to wait, to count, to let the silence breathe a little longer — but the effort that costs you is invisible to everyone who benefits from it.

Something you may recognise less easily: the self-blame that comes right after the charge. You went first, something did not land the way you hoped, and the heat that carried you there turns around fast. The same force that moved you outward has a version that moves inward, just as quick, just as sure.

And then there is the singular loneliness of being the person who makes things happen — which means being the person who is never quite surprised, never quite held, because you were always already on your way somewhere when the moment arrived.

Find somewhere quiet — a chair, a corner, anywhere the room is not asking anything of you for a few minutes. Then let this part of you take a form. Let it show up however it wants to: some people see something bright and impatient, a figure at a door. Some people see something younger than they expected. Some people see something that looks tired, wearing the posture of readiness like a coat it cannot take off.

Look at it without deciding anything about it. Then ask:

What are you trying to get to?

What do you think happens if you don't go first?

What have you never let catch up with you?

What would it feel like to let someone else start something, and to just — be there when it begins?

Do not answer for it. Let the first thing that arrives come, even if it is simpler or stranger than you wanted. If something about the exchange surprises you, good. That is the part of you that could not have reached you through an explanation.

And if you can manage it, say the thing this part has probably never heard directly: I know how much it costs to keep moving. You are allowed to not know what comes next.
